Frog and Lotus in Rain — original Zen art sumi-e painting, large size, Japanese ink on rice paper Asian wall decor
€336,00
SIZE: 70 × 50 cm ~ 27½ × 20 inches
This is an original sumi-e painting of a frog and lotus in rain. Albeit looking simple, it has a deep philosophical meaning: in Japan, the frog (kaeru), is symbolic of good fortune, and as the word in Japanese means "to return”, frogs can be linked with things/or people returning to their place of origin. The lotus flower is associated with purity, transformation, renewal and enlightenment, while full moon embodies all the positive things of the dark sky — spirituality, dreams and energy balance. I love this understated painting very much and I believe it will look great in any interior.
