This weekend I was so pleased and honored to take a part in Hungarian Days of Haiku. Hungarian Days of Haiku - is a great event with lot of lectures about Japanese poetry, haiku readings, different activities and haiku contests.
In my part I was creating a sumi-e painting - and anyone could write a haiku about it.The first three winners received a sumi-e painting on shikishi board from me.
And I had a privilege of meeting His Excellency Masato Otaka, the Japanese Ambassador to Hungary, and presenting my book to him (https://amz.run/6KtO).
Please visit Magyar Haikunap to find out more about the event, to read the winning poetry from contests etc.
