Tao and Te — Set of 2 mini stone seals, hand carved Oriental chop stamps

This is a pair of small seals that would look great on a miniature artworks or a small greeting cards. They can be used separately, but I conceived them to be a pair representing two basic concepts of Taoism philosophy.

Tao is the natural order of the Universe, while Te is the active living or cultivation of the way. Together these seals may signify the Meaning of Life, adding a philosophical dimension to even the simpliest images.

Size: 7x7 mm / ¼ x ¼ inches each

I enjoy carving seals and consider it a part of my artistic practice. I always carve my seals by hand, like it used to be for centuries, never use any machines or ready-made designs. Every seal has its own character that will never be reproduced.
