Tara is an important female Buddha in Buddhism. In Vajrayana Buddhism, Green Tara is a female Buddha who is a consort of Amoghasiddhi Buddha. Tārā is also known as a saviouress who hears the cries of beings in saṃsāra and saves them from worldly and spiritual danger. TAM is Tara's seed mantra (bijamantra). This seed syllable is often visualized in Tara sadhanas (meditative rites practices). This seed syllable may also appear in longer Tārā mantras.
Painting on a kakejiku (kakemono) scroll. This scroll is from high quality rice paper which moulded on another layer of paper and framed with silk paspartou. Ready-to-hang, no framing needed. Stamped with my personal stone seal.
