Koi Fish Sumi-e Painting – Original Japanese Ink Art

Japanese Koi (carp) fish are generally thought to bring a good luck, and this painting depicts two koi in a pond in a clean and understated manner.

This is traditional sumi-e art, handpainted on raw unbleached rice paper in Japanese ink, mounted (stretched on another layer of rice paper), not framed.

Signed and stamped with my personal seal, "Joy" and "Two Koi" seals, also carved by myself.
