Hand Carved Stone Seal: "Wei Wu Wei" Oriental Chop Stamp

This is a hand carved stone seal with a Taoist term Wei Wu Wei, which translates as "action that is non-action".

It may be used as a personal seal, as an exlibris mark, as an artist's signature on paintings or calligraphy works, and is, indeed, a curious gift for any Oriental-minded person.

I enjoy carving seals and consider it a part of my artistic practice. I always carve my seals by hand, like it used to be for centuries, never use any machines or ready-made designs. Every seal has its own character that will never be reproduced.
