It may be used as a personal seal, as an ex libris mark, as an artist's signature on paintings or calligraphy works, and is, indeed, a curious gift for any Oriental-minded person.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI enjoy carving seals and consider it a part of my artistic practice. I always carve my seals by hand, like it used to be for centuries, never use any machines or ready-made designs. Every seal has its own character that will never be reproduced.
