1 December 2024 Haiku Poetry Museum opened it doors in Budapest. I am very happy, tree of my paintings will decorate the walls of the museum. Big thanks to Dr. Vihar Judit, to Magyar-Japán Baráti Társaság and to all the organizers. I wish all the best wishes to the museum, a lot of new friends, interesting gathering, readings, events etc-etc for a long future!
For my haiga paintings I selected tree poems from tree very famous Japanese poets, translated to Hungarian by tree different Hungarian poets/ translators. In one poem you can see the end of winter and early spring start, the other one represent a summer scenery, and the third - is autumn. And here are the poems in Hungarian translations:
"A szilvavirágot
lopd el, ne félj!"
Így biztat a hold.
Kobajasi Issza / Vihar Judit fordítása

Öreg tó vize,
a béka belepottyan,
loccsanva csobban.
Macuo Basó / Pohl László fordítása
--
Fák lombja hullong,
hántoló kölyűk már csak
messzi duhognak.
Josza Buszon / Buda Ferenc fordítása
