In April 2025 I was taking a part in one of my favorite events in Budapest - A Day of Japanese Haiku Poetry in Hungary - Magyar Haikunap. And it was amazing as always! This time I did a painting using only traditional Japanese materials, but connected with European art as well. And it was a painting celebrating spring and love. And everyone was invited to wright a haiku poem about of what they see.
The winning poem is by Szatai Rien:
Két sor sakura
Ernyő alatt egy pillanat
Az ecset megáll.
